Just found this article via copenhagen streetstyle. It somehow matches perfectly the "fashion bloggers not allowed to fashion week"-discussion. It's all about beeing afraid of change, isn't it?

Yes, a good article and I thing it shows that style blogging, especially street style blogging, is an evolving form and may be continually evolving so all the more reason to stay away from the co-opting influence of the fashion capitalists.

oh my god... i know! sometimes i covet a fashion spread but have a difficult time imagining it in real life. ie. balenciaga platform shoes?
but, it's also refreshing to see street fashion, because it makes you a little more aware of the beauty that exists in real life and on the streets.

which is a lot different from freaking out over how much you weigh, or how long it's going to take to save up for that new prada bag. (i'd rather take the money and use it for a trip to europe!)
